A small group of hams did the the field day at Lake Lowndes State Park, Columbus MS.
The station consisted of an IC-7100, ICOM AH-4 tuner, Bioenno 20Ah LiFePO4 battery, a random wire over a couple of pine trees and a counterpoise. We used the campsite picnic table and a Harbor Freight portable car port as rain cover.
The intent with field day is to erect a portable station in order to practice emergency operation.
We had a great time! We operated as 1A, callsign K5ARN, 47 contacts.

Thanks for supply everything, and I do mean everything. It was a great time making contacts and visiting with other HAMS.
