146.625 is back!

From K5RFL:

It’s with great excitement that I share this news with you. The Lowndes County Amateur Radio Club has now gotten the 146.625 repeater on the tower in Artesia.
The coverage area is going to be a great benefit to the Golden Triangle Area as well as surrounding areas. Contact has been made from as far as Meridian to the new location.
With the increased coverage area, the Lowndes County ARC has opted to move the Lowndes County ARC weekly QSO net on Tuesday at 7:30 PM to the 146.625 repeater rather than the 147.000 repeater.

Handheld radios can reach the repeater from Starkville, so a significant increase in check-ins should be noticed soon. Of the many benefits to this new location, the timing is great with hurricane season here. This will give greater coverage in all directions and, along with the W5YD repeater, give 2 meter coverage from our members in Attala County well across the Alabama state line, which has been where much of our storm activity and damage has been.
