You’re Invited to a Party !!

Don’t forget our Annual Mississippi On-the-Air New Years Eve Party
beginning at 11 PM local time on Tuesday Night on 3862.  Our NCS will be
W5XX with commentary by K5CUB.

There will be plenty of opportunities during the one-hour net for you to
check in and wish everyone the best for 2025 (that is if you want to
make comments, otherwise you can just check in and listen).  In
addition, K5CUB will have plenty of information about Ham Radio activity
in Mississippi during 2024 including Major Events, EMCOMM Responses,
Public Service Events, and a few statistics about Ham Radio in
Mississippi.

Special guests will be K5UZ, Delta Division Director, and WB4RHQ, Delta
Division Vice Director.

If 3862 is busy at 11 PM, look for the Net up or down 5.

LoCoArc  Christmas Party 

  This is notice and reminder of our Christmas Party coming up this Thursday in lieu of our Monthly Meeting.  

  Our annual Christmas party is this Thursday, December 5, 2024.  It will be held at last year’s location, El Patron.  Address is 78 Brickerton Street, Columbus ,MS and phone # is 662-630-5120.  As we agreed at the November Monthly meeting, we will exchange Dirty Santa type gifts, valued at $10 or less. For those who are time-crunched and/or gift wrap challenged, there is an option of donating an amount (equivalent to the gift limit or not) to the Club, which others can add to so the Club can donate to a selected Charity.  Last year, we chose St Jude’s Hospital. Another consideration for donations is one of the groups which assisted the victims of Hurricane Helene. We will start gathering at 6:00 pm and plan to close out by 9:00 pm.
