Mississippi’s Walk for Diabetes

Mississippi’s Walk for Diabetes in Columbus, MS, is scheduled for Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Riverwalk. Registration begins at 1 p.m., and the walk starts at 2 p.m. The event will include a 1-mile or 3-mile walk, a T-shirt contest, food, and kid-friendly activities to raise funds for the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi (DFM).  

  • Date: Sunday, October 26, 2025
  • Location: The Riverwalk, Columbus, MS
  • Registration: 1:00 p.m.
  • Walk Start Time: 2:00 p.m.
  • Activities: Include a 1-mile or 3-mile walk, T-shirt contest, food, and kid-friendly activities.
  • Purpose: To raise funds and awareness for the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi (DFM), which supports programs for those living with diabetes.

They have asked us to help them with that as Amateur Radio Operators.
