I received my Technician and General class licenses in October 2021 and Extra in December 2021. Now, I can start learning what all that is about. ;-)

Update on Robert:

He is being moved from  Mobile University Hospital to
Methodist Rehab in Pearl on Monday.  He will be QRV for visits at
Methodist Rehab.

He plans to chair the ARES Forum at the Capital City Hamfest on February 2.

You’re Invited to a Party !!

Don’t forget our Annual Mississippi On-the-Air New Years Eve Party
beginning at 11 PM local time on Tuesday Night on 3862.  Our NCS will be
W5XX with commentary by K5CUB.

There will be plenty of opportunities during the one-hour net for you to
check in and wish everyone the best for 2025 (that is if you want to
make comments, otherwise you can just check in and listen).  In
addition, K5CUB will have plenty of information about Ham Radio activity
in Mississippi during 2024 including Major Events, EMCOMM Responses,
Public Service Events, and a few statistics about Ham Radio in
Mississippi.

Special guests will be K5UZ, Delta Division Director, and WB4RHQ, Delta
Division Vice Director.

If 3862 is busy at 11 PM, look for the Net up or down 5.
